You are correct, I have discovered that my son used my computer to make that
post in February 2006. Fortunately he had the foresight to use a disposable
address when he set my computer up to use this site ("Gmane Autoauthorizer"
checked the address before he was able to post to these gmane forums), I
have now disposed this address hence stopping the spam mail arriving on my
computer. It was only a few days ago (eight months after the post) that
the spam mail began arriving on that disposable e-mail address.
So apparently any person posting on this site with a non-disposable address
runs a serious risk of their address being harvested, whereas any person can
post to the Microsoft Forums with a fictitious address.
