I highly recommend Openoffice. MS Office has a lot of problems too. The difference is Openoffice is free, even the support. Just email the user group and you've got your support. I think your problem is your computer. It's hardware related. What brand is your computer? So if MS Office crashed, will you be nice enough to tell us that MS Office sucks too? What will you use? Wordperfect office?
