This works for existing presentations, but it does not allow for the students
to use the right "Task Pane"=>"Master Pages"=>"Available for Use".

This also works but it takes allot of time to unzip the existing template
files to extract the Picture/bitmap.

I had a look through it but did not find any solutions for fixing
the "Available for Use" bar. I also looked at the "Working With Templates",
and "Quickstart Guide for Impresss" but I could not find any answers.

I uploaded the original Autumn4.pot powerpoint template that was converted
using the openoffice conversion tool "File"=>"Wizards"=>"Document Converter"
http://www.sd73.bc.ca/download/tmp/Autumn4.pot

As Henri suggested...

I also installed OpenOffice 2.1 on a Windows XP box. Converted the
Autumn4.pot to OpenOffice template. And OpenOffice 2.1 for windows XP has
the same problem in the "Master Pages"=>"Available for Use".

We have about 150 templates, it would be nice if we could get them to work
globally through the "Available for Use" Pane.

P.S. Thanks for all the support so far. All Elementary Schools and most High
Schools in our district are running OpenOffice. The teachers and students
and technicians appreciate all of the support for OpenOffice. : )
