The problem is File Associations. Right click one of your MS
Word document files and select Open With from the pop up window.
Select MS Word from the list of programs in the next pop up window.
Then click the box at the bottom of this window. (It will tell
Windows to always use the program you selected to always open MS Word
files with MS Word.)
