Hi, I'm back and full of problems.  I installed 2.0 on Mandriva Linux 
2006 (with great difficulty) and have now replaced it with 2.1.  Both 
installed (correctly) on /opt.  Both installations set Tools-> Options 
-> Basic Fonts to CG Times, a font which is not and never has been on my 
current computer.  In both cases the entry cannot be changed, or rather 
the change does not stick after Options is closed.  I assumed that this 
was because /opt is only writable by root and I changed the owner and 
permissions of the Open Office sub directory for 2.0 and logged on as 
root and changed the Basic Fonts for 2.1.  Neither worked.  How do I 
change the entry?  Version 2.x is the first where the entry matters as 
1.1.5 does not appear to make any use of it and 2.x does.  This is not 
an academic question as the setting produces quite unpredictable results 
whenever I am doing a one off job rather than using my templates or when 
copying and pasting text.
