When I started my Writer document I highlighted everything and changed the font to Arial. Now I have applied styles only to notice that the font metrics are off. Can I reset the font on the default style without overriding all of the other styles I have applied? If I simply change the font on the default style it has no effect - I still have Arial.
You are currently overriding the style with your manual formatting. To reset the font to the style font, Edit / Select All then Format / Default Formatting.
You can change the font of the default style by pressing F11 (or selecting Format / Styles and Formatting from the menu), right clicking on Default, and changing the font information.
