Why not just hit "Reply All" and go from there.
A copy of your response gets posted to the mailing list, and a copy goes
directly to the person who asked the question. All bases covered and no

Sorry Frank, but doing "Reply All" from the gmane newsgroup just
addresses gmane.comp.openoffice.questions and [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Responding to Trevor, I have two Thunderbird extensions installed:
View Headers Toggle Button and
header scroll extension.
With these it is relatively easy to look at the headers as you are doing.
