[users] New subscriber and new to Open Office

I just installed Open Office 2.2 from an Open CD that I purchased from Amazon.  
I will have lots of questions as time goes on but I hope to do this right and 
not cause problems.  I was interested in the post on netiquette so I will try 
to follow those suggestions.  
I did not find anything at FAQ.  If I request the past posts will I get a lot 
of basic information that has already been covered?
In my Welcome Message I did not see any reference to archives.  Where would I 
find those?
