As I've noted before, if someone receives the digest form of the list, there is no way of knowing whether the sender is subscribed or not -- the item-specific headers are very restricted. It surely wouldn't be rocket science to flag the subject line? Meanwhile, people like me have a choice - reply to list only (and risk the poster not seeing it), or send to list /and/ poster (and risk annoying the poster when he gets two copies). Not that I often contribute answers - others seem to do a better and faster job anyway (for which, thanks!!) -- various incoming sites blocked because of spam; see http://www.scottsonline.org.uk for a list and openpgp crypto key (key fingerprint 2ACC 9F21 5103 F68C 7C32 9EA8 C949 81E1 31C9 1364) [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mike Scott, Harlow, Essex, England --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
