Nancy -- First question is, do the recipients have MS Word on their
computers? I'm assuming they do, but if they don't, that would explain it.
Second, how are you saving your document? What you should be doing
(perhaps you are, just checking) is File > Save As, then where it says
File Type, select Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP, then check the box where it
says Automatic file name extension.
That should do it. If you're doing all of the above, and things still
