After replying to your e mail I feel compelled to write again. As a pleasant sort of person, I was going to ignore your condesending remark "Simply saying "it doesn't work" is not giving us a fair chance to help you."

I am using Open Office as it was recommended on the BBC's Click programme. They said the support was very good. I can remove it and use Microsoft if you would prefere not to be bothered by tiresome requests. I am sure your comments were not meant to sound rude but maybe you should consider your words more carefully.

Hello,

I recently downloaded the latest version of Open Office. I have been using this software since June. My notepad has stopped working. I wondered if the two are linked. My laptop uses Windows Vista and I am aware that there are problems.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Liz Walsh

Please describe in detail what you try to do with Notepad that doesn't work and also exactly what happens, including the exact text of any messages that are displayed. Simply saying "it doesn't work" is not giving us a fair chance to help you.
