Thank you for your prompt reply. When I try to open Notepad a box comes up
and says "Notepad has stopped working. Windows is searching for a solution"
Then another box replaces the first and says " A problem caused the program
to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if
a solution is available."
It wasn't a complaint towards you. I simply thought it might be vista not
getting on with your software and if you had encountered this before and
have a solution.

Please describe in detail what you try to do with Notepad that doesn't
work and also exactly what happens, including the exact text of any
messages that are displayed. Simply saying "it doesn't work" is not giving
us a fair chance to help you.
