No more than problems associated with standard OOo, or other Ximian &
Debian builds (of which openSUSE is one):
http://go-oo.org/download/

The problems with Ubuntu (U)OOo generally get reported here more
frequently due to the large number of new Ubuntu users & not
understanding how to report (U)OOo bugs on launchpad.

(U)OOo has several advantages:
Fontworks works
Media/sound in Impress works
Wizards now mostly work if 7.10 (U)OOo 2.3
etc.

(U)OOo also has a few disadvantages:
It still lacks a few Address Book Sources
etc.

And overall works quite well. At least as well as openSUSE's & Debian's
version (they are all basically the same).

I use at least 3-4 flavours of OOo: (U)OOo, standard OOo (linux),
Standard OOo (Windows), Go-oo (Windows), and StarOffice 8/8, and I can
safely report that the standard OOo is starting to become more
troublesome than the (U)OOo 2.3 version - particularly if you want
Fontwork to actually work.
