I see that you are using both kana and kanji. I have installed SCIM on my granddaughter's computer, but could not find a kanji library. So I have installed kana and pinyin. Is this what you did, or have you a better solution? I shall try it in OOo, and see how successful I have been, tomorrow morning. This is exciting!
