To clarify what others have been telling you, Open Office is distributed under the GPL license. That means two things: 1) It is available free of charge from the OOo website. 2) People not affiliated with OOo may resell the software for a price. If you paid for Open Office then you probably were not aware that you could have gotten it for free from OOo. There are people who take advantage of others and sell open source software for a cost (usually with the expectation that they will support the software). The uninformed will then pay for it when they could have gotten the software for free. If you paid for the software and it was delivered then you simply got ripped off in a legal way. If you paid for the software and it was never delivered to you, then you have a legal compliant and you should file it with your credit card company. Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
