When you say "gets hung up ..." what exactly do you mean? How long for? On my system the file you mention is 5MB so scanning it might take a while. I think the scanner will scan each individual image within the file too; there are more than 7000 of those. Can you not tell Norton to skip/accept this file? Or configure Norton's scheduler to scan at a time when you are typically not using the computer? Have you tried scanning *just* that file?
