OOo cannot open doc files the way that the creator intended. They may
be readable, but the formating is all wrong. On many documents with
complex formating that makes them impossible to read.

Additionally, I will not wait until they upgrade to teach them about
document compatibility. I owe them nothing, rather, they recruited me
to join their environmental club and it's _me_ helping _them_ with
their projects.

I expect that messages sent to me will be in a language that I
understand and a format that I can open. Just as I would have demanded
that documents not be sent in Turkish, I demand that they not be sent
in doc files.
