Either a) go to www.openoffice.org, press the big green "Get OpenOffice.org" button and, on the page that opens, follow the "Get OpenOffice.org on CD" link. There's a list of potential vendors. Expect to pay not more than about USD10 to cover the cost of the CD plus P&P. Please note that we make no recommendations nor do we give any guarantees about any of the vendors on that web page. or b) Check the latest editions of computer magazines relevant to your Operating System. The OpenOffice.org suite is frequently distributed on the CDs/DVDs that come free with such magazines. The software is free for any type of use on as many computers as you like. No fees of any sort. On the other hand, if you want to make a contribution, go to http://contributing.openoffice.org/donate.html Support is also free via this mail list run by users of OpenOffice who volunteer their time to help others. Also go to http://support.openoffice.org/index.html for lists of documentation and [non-free] books. -- Harold Fuchs London, England Please reply *only* to [email protected]
