You don't say which Operating System you are using; this information is
usually necessary for this type of problem solving. Also, *exactly* what
happens when you try to open the spreadsheet in question? Do you get any
error messages? Which ones (*exactly*)? Did you save the document with a
password which you have forgotten/mistyped?
