To Drew Jensen: Thank you for the Clarification, as I do NOT remember
seeing it on any of your list and do take your word for it. However, I
reiterate what I said, this information should be put on the DEV forum
and NOT on the users. Because of your courtesy, I will resubscribe to
the OOo forum, but anytime a political item comes up I will delete, as I
cannot do anything about MSFT's criminal behaviour nor any thing that
does NOT pertain to learning OOo! :-)

call for the Vote was
- announced on the the announcement list
- announced on the front page of the web site
- announced on every web forum that deals with OOo that I know of [ 2
English, 1 French, 1 Hungarian, 1 German..Don't know first hand about
the other German, Polish, Norwegian or Japanese forums, pretty sure it
was on the Potuguese forum and mailing lists]
- on the GullFOSS blog ( I think )
- the Marketing blog(s) ( I know )
I voted for a site that was not in China ( hint I like Green, as in
the color of an Emerald ) by the way - we lost.
