Checked out your file ...... this is definitely an openoffice issue. My
staroffice/openoffice 2.* is exhibiting the behavior you mention on
Linux too.
BUT
openoffice 3.0 (pre-beta DEV300 m6) happily opens the file.
Can I use your document to submit bug report ?

He didn't see your response - he is unsubscribed so you'll need to cc or
forward to him.
I also tried in StarOffice 8/rev9 (linux) and also had issues; CPU maxed
out and I finally had to kill it. OOo 2.4.0 opened the doc fine.
OOo3.0M5 opened the file also, albeit slower than 2.4.0.
BTW: where are you getting M6 from? M3 installed fine for me (.deb
files), but M5 keeps wanting to be king of the hill and take over my 2.4.0.

This is Pavel Janik's build.
