I second that.  Win 98 is no longer supported by M$ as far as I know -
but I suspect they will insist on its being licensed.  Using Linux would
allow "the people" to run the latest version of OpenOffice.org; keep an
"up to date" OS without having to spend what little money they have; and
they would be likely to find a greater range of freeware.
