In answer (rather belatedly) to para 1, go to Tools > Options > Open Office.org > General > Document Status > if there is a tick in -(Printing sets "document modified" status), I know this wants you to save the document again even if you have only opened it and printed a copy of it without making any alterations at all. I always wondered why this was so when I had made no alterations until I found out about this setting. Try with the tick out and then again with the tick in - and do not forget the OK button at the bottom each time. [EMAIL PROTECTED]
