That's why you only want to do it for URLs that are absolutely known to be shortened URLs. You have to keep a list of known URL-shorteners. It's hard/impossible to get a complete list, but pretty easy to get a list of the big ones that cover 90% of all shortened URLs you're likely to see. Regards, Dianne.
