Sometime back, I travelled by Lufthansa Airlines. The
monitors in the flight
shows flight statistics in
English language in Imperial units
German language in Metric Units
For ex-
Height 33,000 Ft
Hohe 10,000 Meters
ofcourse in 2 different screen snaps.
The flight involved both Boeing and Airbus in 2
different sections.
They should know that many people in the world like
French, Indians, Arabs
know the English language and the Metric units, but
don�t know German language and the Imperial Units.
They are forced to learn the imperial units. I wrote
a letter to the airlines
asking them to display one more part in English
language with Metric Units
both by post and email.
Seems it did not reach the right person. If anyone
knows the right contact,
please tell this problem to them.
