Why is it important to have accuracy within 1�?
Most people sense a temperature change around 1.8�. Honeywell thermostats are more accurate than some electronic thermostats which can vary up to 9�. Most thermostat manufacturers use some of our thermostat technology - none are as accurate as Honeywell.

 

Emphasis is mine.  That 1.8�F is 1�C or 1 K.  It is saying that the human body's temperature sensor is accurate to 1�C.  That people can sense a temperature difference of 1�C, but NOT 1�F.  It means all of the FFU-ist propaganda about Fahrenheit being more accurate because it has more divisions between freezing and boiling is all hogwash.
