To follow up on my post recommending buying popular science books from Amazon.ca to get a metric edition, I did receive The Weather Makers, by Tim Flannery, and it is indeed fully metric. The only non-metric unit I've seen in it was in a graphic that has two vertical axes -- km on the left and miles on the right. What a nice experience it is to read a popular book with reasonable units! --Bruce
