Dear Pat and All,

we should all remember that a pre-metric ?gallon? is less practicably
comparable in more scenarios of use than the is the SI (metric) liter.

[likewise for the pre-metric ?mile? in comparison with a metric or
decimally-scaled meter (or metre if you please)]

pre-metric = bureaucracy = hidden tax = pre-metric

metric = simplicity = efficiency = best practice = value

has EPA concluded that public does not wonder why EPA is not yet
up-to-metric?

has pre-media concluded that public does not wonder why pre-media is not yet
up-to-metric?

cheers,

Ron
