Update: A bit of googling found me this: http://lists.debian.org/debian-kde/2000/debian-kde-200011/msg00008.html "micro-HOWTO on loading sound fonts with SB Live!"
In other words, you were right, in the Windows drivers there is a file called "8MBGMSFX.SF2" which, so far as I can tell, loads the sound samples onto the SB Live card itself. No worky until that happens. Unfortunately, I am not quite sure where my SB Live CD has run off to, so I'm currently downloading the soundfont file from LimeWire ... when it finishes, I'll let you know if it actually works. Thanks for all your help, Ross -- This sentence would be seven words long if it were six words shorter. ____________________ BYU Unix Users Group http://uug.byu.edu/ ___________________________________________________________________ List Info: http://uug.byu.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/uug-list
