Glad to hear you're recovering!
When you say the helmet "came out okay", I hope you mean that it did
its job and kept your head safe. I just wanted to point out to
anyone who didn't know that helmets are meant to work ONCE. If your
helmet hit the ground in the accident, you should either replace it
or have Arai X-ray it for cracks. Also, the styrofoam compressible
liner only works once- The part between your head and the asphalt
compressed, cushioning your head. Should that part hit the ground
again, it will not cushion your head again since it's already
compressed.
Apologies to those who already know this, I just wanted to point
it out for those who didn't.
