Thanks Kelly (and others) for pointing out the importance of
checking/replacing a lid after the slightest drop. I meant to say that the
Arai Quantum enabled ME to come through the crash test well..! The helmet
served its purpose well and is now no more. Just as well I wasn't using the
open-face lid I've been wearing for the past few months.. My next lid will
probably NOT be an Arai, however. Found it to be more uncomfortable than
expected, more wind noise. My head is more Shoei-shaped!
Question for the Euro gang: has anyone used the 1500cc JE piston & sleeve
kit from PDQ? What came with it/was needed to convert etc,
good/bad/reliable?
