The Z-4 last's much longer than the Z-3, and in my opinion not noticeably less
sticky because you can't push a Max to the full use of either tire's ability in
my opinion. I torched off a Z-3 in 2500 Miles

Hmmm never noticed it on my tires but I use a hot high pressure washer for
that problem when i see a "glaze"
Also I have the Z-4's on my VFR as well and love them. I didn't like the
Michelin Macadam's. They felt squirrley to me and cupped bad on the front.
I would suggest a Z-3 in the front and a Z-4 in the rear.
