Howie, don't just dump the clutch. Bring it up to 4,000 and learn what
it sounds like because at the strip your going to have to get use to the
sound, you'll be too busy watching the tree. Let the clutch out quickly,
don't pop it or don't slip it.As the revs start to drop roll on the gas
and let the clutch out fully. It takes alot of practice to get it right.
Have your butt planted, don't be off the seat. When its done right you
can holeshot any bike. As soon as you can get tucked in, with a max
there's no place to hide from the wind.
