hello Louis,

is the air filter clean?
how old is the gas filter?
did you make any changes to the needles (shims)?
have you drained the gas tank?
are the diaphragms in good condition?
are the carb boots dried or cracked?

I know others will kick in here to help out,
Dennis

I R&R the carbs, replacing the gasket and O-ring in each main float bowl
after soaking and blowing "everything" clear with air.

Still, just off idle to about 4500 rpm it surges, misses or popps. I put in
new plugs and checked the resistance from the plug wires to ground and they
are all close to 45K ohms. I still think the problem is carburation. Any
suggestions are appreciated...... 1992 stock everything.
