sorry I missed the answer earlier about cleaning the fuel tank.
I don't know if you would see water in the tank with a light?
what was the condition of the bowls when you removed them, was there any
dirt or rust inside them?

Yes, I did sync the carbs and blew out the pilot jets with air and visually
looked thru them (clear).
