Carlos,
I am "tcamp30" ... "does it work" ... I guarantee it will give you the
maximum vacuum advance from your ignition controller, and if used with
the 10% resistance values it will do so without regard to the actual
vacuum at cylinder #2.
Will it do anything positive for you ??!? That depends on a lot of
things .... and I tried to explain those in the text at the web site.
Everything else staying equal it will make the bike think it is
running leaner. If you are on the border line now it might make you
run too lean ..... you could end up running too lean and burn a hole
in the top of one of your pistons, (without even having to spend any
money at RB Racing).
What were my expectations when I did this ?? Certainly not to gain
15-20 RWHP like you would get with a Dale Walker Vboost switch ... but
also as noted ... I found that it makes the bike more responsive when
rapidly changing to WOT and so far it does appear to be on some
benefit for gas economy .. but nothing to write home about ... I felt
it might also be of benefit to those running with open vboost that are
screwing with the manifold vacuum that the sensor is used to seeing
from a stock configuration. I actually did this to try some different
brands of 108 octane and street gas, (which needs to be lit sooner or
you go backwards), and to see if it made a significant difference on
"floor it" responsiveness, (more than I can get by biasing cylinder 2
when syncing the carbs). Will that do anything ?? I will let you know
when we get back on test nights at the drag strip.
This is information that I obtained by investigating the operation of
the sensor .... It is posted for what it is ... and you need to make a
very careful determination of any benefit it might be to you, (like ..
don't do it with nitrous etc) ... It is not a "do it to all of them
and everything will be wonderful" modification ... but if you were
looking for a couple of extra degrees of advance, (for what ever
reason) ... there it is ...

Paul,
What is your opinion about "Ignition Timing Advance Modification"?
Like they
suggest at (http://tcamp30.home.pipeline.com/advance.htm). ?!
Do you have any experience whit these? Does it works?!!
