Thought I remember reading somewhere that if you shift to 5th and attempt to
start, it somehow distributes the oil throughout the passages. Is this
correct? Can someone go over the proper procedure. I have completely drained
the oil (dropped the pan as well) and it's been dry for months. Want to make
sure oil is present where it needs to be when I start up soon. Also if you
rotate the tire by hand does this also help to distribute?
