Hi folks,

Got a problem here. I can crank the bike (an 85) in
neutral, tap the shift lever and engage first gear, but
when I pull in the clutch, the rear wheel continues to
spin. I have installed a new (to me) master cylinder
and I believe I have successfully bled the lines. Since
the bike hasn't run in, oh, eight or so years, what do
you folks think could be happening? Anyone had
a similar experience?

I've already taken off the footpeg and shift lever. I've
removed all but one of the allen head bolts that hold
the clutch cover on. The bottom bolt has a copper
washer, and when I removed it for a second, oil began
to pour out of the hole. Is this normal? Will I have to
drain the oil from the bike to get at the clutch piston?

All thoughts, ideas, and inspirations welcome.

BTW, does anyone have a spare radiator drain plug
assembly - I need one.

Thanks,

Kevin Winters
