Bob,
one thing i do when messing with needle positions is to measure
them from the slide base to the needle tip as they go in.
as per TC's good advise to check that #4 for conformity, pull
the slide from any of the other 3 and measure it, then pull #4 andcheck it.
you'll know if you need to reseat it, without disassembly if that's not it.
for what it's worth, my bike had a completely different needle
and paj2 in it when i bought it. not nec. bad because someone had identified
that cyl. as a lean runner and had jetted it to "show" at the plugs the same
as the rest. none the less, they where diff, which i realize is not you're
case since you just did the stg.7 install yourself,but look real close at
the seating.
