Don,
You are absolutely right .... you have lost significant suck power to
pull fuel out of the needle jet, (tube the needle lives in). The
restrictor/correctors will raise the pressure in the fuel bowl
respectively and help out here but I don't think you really have to do
that .... It is your choice ... I have run both ways with a trimmed
box  ..... Give this guy a little more needle .... try 3 clicks ......
you are dying in mid-range ........ then ........ you should run on
fine on a DJ165 or 170 main, (unless you live next door to Phil or Sat
Tara at 5800 feet .... if so put the DJ160 back in).

The MK140 is very close to the DJ150 that comes in the kit for the
PAJ2 ...  (and yes you will need it with the cut box) .....
