Kelly I looked at my big bro's XJR when you emailed last and you were right
about the R1 rotor not being countersunk as per Max. The forks on that bike have
about the same clearance as a stock Max setup has so it probably would be wise
to give the bolts a little haircut as well as countersinking some recesses. I
would take the job to an engineering shop armed with the original V-Max items so
they know exactly what to do.
I can't see it costing very much.
