Phil
I've been testing a lockup clutch assembly and hope
to have a good setup by Jan./Feb.
If you can wait I think we can get those 60 footers
down in 1.4 range. Stock fibers are better than Barnett
at the dragstrip. Am I correct in assuming that PCW
removed that clutch boss ring when they did the 1500
motor and installed the Double D clutch spring setup?
The Double D is a stiff clutch and is very difficult
to launch a bike with, as I'm sure you know. The double
D spring will not slip! good for a street bike,
bad for a dragbike. There isn't a good reason to reinstall the
clutch boss ring. If your clutch is slipping it will show on
the steel plates as blue/yellow discoloring usually toward the
bottom of the stick up of clutch plates.
Do you know how a lock up works?
