I agree ... with using the synthetic as well ... if for no other
reason it seems to be great for cold start-ups and I don't get the
"first time in gear" clank, (plus I don't feel so bad going 2000 miles
on an oil change). I just don't fill it closer that 1/8 from the top
line anymore, (and it doesn't eat it .. at least mine doesn't ..). The
bike at 5038 miles .. (after already having synthetic in it), showed
no difference between cold and hot compression pressures .. sooooooo
.. I guess the center cylinders really weren't completely done doing
their thing at 2K .. but apparently didn't care if they had synthetic
or not. I haven't the slightest idea why the Royal engine set up
faster ... I guess it might be the lower RPM operating range ... (6250
rev limiter).
