The fuel tank must be modified for chain conversion losing some capacity but
I didn't think it was that much. Just dragged out the flyer they sent and
it says "Minimal capacity loss of only 1.6 quarts or 10% of the 4 US gallon
tank".

On a side note, I am assuming that PCW did this when they did the chain
conversion. My fuel tank only seems to hold about 2-2.5 gallons. My fuel
light comes on at 45 miles.

PS - Upon re-reading my last posting and all of your responses to my last
posting about the "social riding" stuff, I apologize. It is true that we
only have ice and snow about one week per year here in Portland. I leather
up and keep bundled. The wind-chill is in the teens here and it must have
gone well below 0 before I wrote the last email. Again, I apologize.
