hey TC
do both of those bikes have a like 5K rpm redline
is that why they have such taller gears ?
also back in 1982 when I dragged raced my 1981 GS1100E
stock with only a kerker
anyway everyone told me I could get better et's if I would just put a
smaller tooth on the front
so I went from a 15 to a 14 and went 12 secs or slower
while with stock gear I went 11.82 to 11.86 everytime
went threw the trap with the 14 in low part of 5th gear
with stock 15 I went threw the trap 9,500 in 4th gear
my question here is
don't u think with the HP the vmax has and a taller gear would help the
bike cover more ground faster
I mean I felt like I loss momentum shifting that extra time
it was like I ran out of gear before I ran out of HP to use
