Inverters and electronic ballasts create radio frequency noises that can
interfere with TV and radio. More likely AM radio than TV but sometimes
poor designs will interfere with TV on the local antenna, less like TV
on the cable, though that depends a great deal on the quality of coaxial
cable and its connections.
