Hail Vaguers:

Taking the collective wisdom of the group at face value, I'm informing the CC/IS
that VAGUE is not prepared to enter a dialog on sharing their space.

FWIW, josh, I agree that finding hackers is the top priority; but who's going
to do that?
That is why I suggested some kind of committee; to discover and make contact
with affinity groups
and develop the interest in order to take it somewhere. It seemed to me, from
the last meeting, that
these other groups do exist.

FWIW, H. Kurth, your points are spot on. I never tried to imply that "build it
and they will come"
was the path to success. Only that IF there are the affinity groups AND
assuming there are for the moment,
that finding an affordable space that just the VAGUE group singularly could
afford would pave the way
to developing events that outside groups could attend and support.

I was just trying to help the group in my own, limited, way; not force carts b4
horses.
