Here is what I had to do to get an English Vassal running on a loosy French computer: - Vassal (web) launch - New module (I won't bother you with the French translations...) - Preference / Language => English - Close Vassal - Vassal (web) launch - New module - Translate / Translate Vassal User Interface (default there was still "francais"... why???) - Chose English/Any country - had to click each & every Cc button to copy each text from "Source Text" (correct english labels) to "Translation" (all empty cells) - Save - Close Vassal - Launch Tada !!!!! English is now really english and not just french anylonger. But now I have a VASSAL_en.properties file in my VASSAL folder (had not such a file before)
Any explanation as to why it was working properly for German, Italian or Japanese (Yuck!) but not English??? Weird
