My thinking was that, if it will run once but not again, then something must 
be changing between the initial & subsequent attempts to run. I'm not 
experienced enough to know what to look for but would suggest just looking for 
_any_ differences in the configuration files before & after. If you see any 
changes it might give you a clue as to what is happening.
