Well, the V'Box 4.1.14 on the system Exporting the VM has no problems with VT-x disabled, but the 4.1.18 Importing the VM does - to the extent that booting never actually gets as far as the user desktop, but keeps re-booting, over and over. (Doesn't *anyone* recognise that symptom?!) Are you thinking that - unlike 4.1.14 - 4.1.18 *does* have a problem with VT-x Disabled, but perhaps only (in this case) on a netbook with an Intel atom CPU? I think I shall first try 4.1.14 in place of 4.1.18 on the netbook, and then if that doesn't work, try the 4.2 RC3 - when it has settled down on the repository. Many thanks for the ideas, Mark!
